The On Our Way program is a dynamic educational initiative centered around the "On Our Way" book series, designed to integrate social and emotional learning (SEL) into everyday classroom activities. This program encourages students to reflect on their daily social interactions, recognize and celebrate their "Social Wins," and set positive goals for the future.
Teachers are equipped with the "On Our Way to the Zoo Playbook and Scorecard," which provides a structured approach to embedding SEL into the school day. This includes daily reflection sessions, goal-setting exercises, and opportunities for students to engage in leadership roles within the classroom. By fostering a supportive and collaborative environment, On Our Way helps students develop the self-awareness, empathy, and interpersonal skills needed to succeed both academically and socially.
